New Years Resolutions
Now that we are six days into the New Year, I thought that I'd finally make my list of resolutions. This year I am seriously going to try my best to actually keep one. Although part of me feels like I did a good job this past year of keeping mine. Whatever they were. Just kidding.
Anyway, here is my list. I hope that maybe I can inspire you all.
1. Get a new job. A better job. And one that doesn't include daughters in college, girls who are out to screw me over, and counting out cash.
2. Pay back Mom and Dad as much as I can. #1 should be able to help me with this one.
3. Be financially smarter. Stop spending so much money at Walgreens on stuff that I really don't need. Save it for going out with my friends, and Target.
4. Be a better friend. I need to be better about making plans. I also need to be more honest sometimes.
5. Learn how to cook. So Steven doesn't have to all of the time. Hopefully this wiil not result in fires or people getting sick.
6. Go to all of the places in Chicago that I've never been to. Sad because I've lived here 5 years!! The museum of Science and Industry being one of them.
7. Go back to Newport. Because its been 3 years since graduation and I want to go back and see my friends! I also know how much Steven wants to go too.
8. Go to New Orleans. I was supposed to go in October, but thanks to Katrina that didn't happen. I didn't go for New Years because it cost over $500 dollars to fly there. But enough of this crap, I am going!!! I need to meet Steven's mom to prove that I'm real. Just kdding.
9. Get my own apartment. For my own personal sanity.
10. Meet Greg. Greg is Laura's boyfriend who she has been with for 3 years and who lives in Singapore with. I have never met him. Can you believe that?!! I've seen a ton of pictures of him, but enough of that, I want to meet him!! So that I can hear his English accent, hehe.
So thats that. I always try my best to be a better person every day. Whether its doing something nice for someone else, letting someone know how much they mean to me, or taking the time to reflect.
May this year bring everyone that I know good luck, and myself too. I sure could use some!!
