I don't get it...

I really don't understand why I wake up this early when I currently don't have any place of work to go.

My MOM even comes in and wakes me up every day before she leaves. I barely sleep anyway nowadays b/c all I think about is what else I can do to land a job. I call the same people every week, and either they don't call me back, or we don't accomplish much. Or I need to have mastered the art of Microsoft Excel. Sorry, I was an art history major, Power Point and I are better friends. Hehe.

I think that the most frustrating thing is getting people to return your phone calls, or them responding to your emails. Its like okay, I'm not going to call you every day, or send you an e-mail everyday. I understand that people are busy and their #1 priority isn't responding to me, but that falls under the rude catergory with me. Don't have me come in for an interview, bring my hopes up, and then just not respond. Especially after I've followed up with you.

Or if you are someone that I know through someone else, and I'm trying to either network through you, or ask for some help, (or if you can be a resource for me) and you really either don't like me for personal reasons, or you just don't want to help me, just say so. But of course those who feel this way just don't respond at all, and thats their way of letting you know.

Oh what can you do...I can imagine the kind of response's I'll get from this! I know, I know, I'm venting on my blog and I'm not supposed to be. And yes, I know what I have to do. Just keep pluggin' away, and I'm the only one who knows what I want to do, and who can make things happen. Not the people who don't respond to me. They're too busy w/their own problems. Or surfing the internet...
