Hump Day
Well, the last 24 hours have been interesting to say the least.
Last night I went to Grateful Dead cover band concert with Steven. I felt like I stuck out like a sore thumb! My sister Christina used to listen to them when she was in college. I can remember riding with her in her bright red Berretta GT with her music blasting on the way to the mall. I thought that I was soo cool.
Anyway, it was fun other than these girls who were totally wasted. One girl kept waving her cigarette around while she was dancing, and her friend that like attempted to start a fight with Steve's friend. Way to try and spoil a good time people!! But then we got away from them and it was okay. But the cigarette thing annoyed the crap outta me. I mean it was very crowded, and if you're going to smoke, be careful of the way you hold your cigarette, and be considerate of those around you. No one wants to get burned. It hurts like hell.
I guess last night was also a good example of how Steven and I differ in our taste in music. He enjoys classic stuff, and some music that sounds like folk music, and some bands that I've never heard of. I enjoy listening to it with him, but its not what I listen to during my own time.
I will say that I think that I've got a pretty good CD collection, and when I get an iPod my mixes will be good. :-)
Well, thats about it. I had an interview today, it went well. Lets keep our fingers crossed that someone gets back to me by the end of the month with something. Otherwise I'm joining the circus.
