Manic Monday
Today was just way too crazy of a Monday. I don't mind crazy days because they go by fast, but on Monday's especially in the morning my brain is total mush and I am sleepy until I finish my coffee.
One thing that I did today that was kind of random was run an errand for the other office manager is a superior of mine because her boss is like the president for the entire office suite. Anyway, I had to go to the bank and do a deposit and then drop off a CD an some office for some guy. Today was also a typical Chicago-March-weather day. It was cloudy, 45 degrees, and there was a wind advisory today for the city.
My hour break from my desk was quite eventful let me tell you. While walking to the bank I saw the governor of Illinois standing on the street talking to someone, and then after that I decided to walk to this other office to drop off this important CD. Well, little did I know it was going to so windy outside let alone cold and windy. Oh and that the office building that I had to go to was a bazillion blocks away. I think that on days like today I am going to have to put sand in my pockets so that I don't blow away.
I did however get a chance to admire the "green" Chicago River. They dye it green for St. Patrick's Day. That is a whole other post though. I just figured it was about time that I updated for you all.
My St. Patrick's Day post will be coming up though.

Glad to see you back updating :). It was 80 degrees here yesterday; so awesome!
Yeah, nice to hear from you again--I was wondering where you went. That's so cool that they dye the river green for St. Patrick's. When it's windy here I can't stand it, especially when it is cold and I can only imagine what it must be like there when it is windy and cold.
Hope you're doing good!
