Home Sick
Sorry that I've been kinda MIA lately. I've been too tired to post Friday nights, and then I'm busy the rest of the weekend. Not to mention that nothing blogworthy has really happened.
Anyway, today I stayed home sick today from work. Yesterday I was miserable, and I'm starting to feel better now. Hopefully tommorrow I'll be able to make it back into work.
I did watch the Emmy's last night, I was hoping to see some more emphasis on the fashion like they usually do.So that was a little disappointing. So was Barry Manilow and Tony Shalub winning instead of Steve Carell.
Other than that today I've spent the day reading, and trying to find a doctor and a dentist who has extended hours. The problem is that I don't get back downtown from work until 5-5:30, and most of the doctor's are only there until 5. I did find one dentist who has extended hours, but they're booked until Novemeber. Who knew that scheduling a dental appointment would be so difficult.
Very frustrating.
In other news, Steven was going to come up here in a few weeks and say with his cousin and his wife, but apparently her mom is going to be in town. This is after I had discussed this with her a few times. Because finding a hotel in Chicago isn't easy unless you don't mind spending a few hundred dollars a night. He can't stay here because I live with my parents and that would just be awkward. Soo, now I won't see him until I go down there for my birthday in October.
I would also like to say that not one day last week did I surf the internet for shoes. This is a big deal people. Well, I will do my best to post more often. I hope everyone is doing well.

Sorry you're sick. Hope you feel better sooon!
Surfing is OK right--as long as you don't buy?
that's what I keep telling myself; when I spend hours and hours on the Dooney & Bourke website.
UGH, I must get a life beyond my Dooneys.
Did you have a cold? I was sick with one last week and the beginning of this week and it was terrible. Anyway, I hope you're feeling better. That sucks that you won't be able to see Steven when you thought you would. I admire the both of you for doing the whole long distance thing--it shows patience and maturity in my opinion. :)
