Funny/Weird/Disturbing.
I had the following conversation with my Mom yesterday morning:
Mom : "So did you have fun last night?"
Me: "Yeah, we just BBQ'ed and sat outside. It was very nice. "
Mom: "I hope that you and Steve are practicing safe sex."
Me: "I know!! Ew. "
Mom: "What? No ew. You spend a lot of time alone together. I'm not stupid. I know that you aren't sitting around saying the Rosary!"
Me: "I think that I'm going to make some tea now..."
First of all, like I'm really going to inform my Mom about that particular aspect of my life. Secondly, I don't want to sound immature by saying that I don't feel comfortable talking to her about sex, but she is my Mom and its alittle weird. Sorry.
I just thought that was funny and that I'd share it. Anyone who has met my Mom, or knows her would think that this was funny.
After that I took this "Whos Your Daddy" quiz thing that Heather had on her blog and yeah, it said that my daddy was Dennis Rodman. I'm not sure if you can get any more scarier than that!
It did make me laugh thuogh of course. So thank you Heather for providing me with a good laugh! And I hope that your "big event" went well for you. :-)
Well, that all I got for right now. All of my nails seem to be breaking right now. Soo annoying!! Okay that was random...

Wow. My mom has said the same thing to me, back when I was dating my now ex-boyfriend. Don't you love it how mothers choose to just say it vaguely, and randomly? As if they're talking about the most common thing in the world. Although, if your mom is anything like mine, my mom is never actually that calm about the topic, she just pretends to be oh-so-laid-back when she throws it out there.
