The Fire Is Starting To Go Out...

I'm still sunburned, but it doesn't hurt as much right now.

Last night I had trouble sleeping because it started to itch. I don't know what is worse, it hurting, or itching. All I know is, the itching is annoying, and it will be very gross when this all starts peeling.


So, I survived going to my interview yesterday w/my black pant suit. It was very nice one I was finally inside the building with the air conditioning. I met with 4 people, all of whom were very very nice. One guy was alittle dry though. But he was still very nice. They have a few different jobs in mind for me, and they just need to discuss it before getting back to me. Finally, some people who actually CARE about finding a good match for me! Just kidding.


I have to say that I love going down to that part of the city, let alone the Loop. The buildings where I was yesterday are all old and really pretty. I had to go into the Chicago Board of Trade, which is the equivalence of the NY Stock Exchange, for those of you who don't live in Chicago.

I remember when I met Laura for lunch one time and she took me on a tour of the old trading floor, and then the new one. Very exciting, so much action...Those people defintley can't complain that their job is boring!! Not to mention the amount of money some of those people make...

I feel like if I got a job at this firm it would be a very rewarding experience for me. One guy told me that you learn something new everyday, which I like. Especially since the only stuff I know about the business is what my 2 sisters and my Dad tell me.


Well, I think I should take a shower now. Preferably a cold one....
