Happy Fathers' Day

Happy Fathers' Day to all of the daddies out there.

So, last night a guy that was talking to Lauren that was a friend of her friend's wanted my # after I had left. Due to feeling sick, and being tired. Since it was almost 3 am.

She told him that she would have to ask him some questions to determine whether or not she would give me his number so that I could call him. Here are the questions:

1. Who did you vote for in the last election?

2. Do you have a college degree?

3. Do you like to read?

He does in fact have a college, he does like to read, and he also voted for John Kerry. But despite all of that I don't think that I'll call him. I'm so focused on getting settled into a job. I don't mind dating, but he's not really my type. Most of the guys that I've met out here have been at least 4 years older than me, and I have grown to prefer them.

But I would never date someone more than 10 years older than me. No offense Katie Holmes.

I want to be able to grow old w/someone, not grow old with someone who's already old.

I honestly have no idea why I'm writing about all of this, I'm really in need of a burger or some Jamba Juice after last night. The french toast that I ate earlier didn't do it for me.

I guess all I'm saying is if you want some good pick-up lines, just ask me and Lauren. It's free of charge. :-)

Oh and Happy Fathers' Day to my Dad, thank you for EVERYTHING that you do for me. :-)

"I lost my teddy bear, will you cuddle with me?"

"I lost my phone number, can I have yours?"

I can honestly say that all of those worked for me at one time or another. :)

Oh, and Caroline, you made my day. I'm flying out to Utah the end of August, and I'll see if I can arrange a really long layover in Chicago so we can do lunch or something. Cause I haven't seen you in like 5 freaking years!

Wow...if I were single I'd have no chance with you. A do have a college degree but voted for Bush and hate to read. Is it really important that a guy likes to read...GOSH!

Well, as long as he knows HOW to read. And likes Napoleon Dynamite. Just kidding.
