The Pizza Controversey.

Sunday I had Pizza Hut for the first time in ages. The last time I had it was when I was up at school and we used to go on Friday nights. It was soo good. The breadsticks the other night tasted the same, but the pizza seemed different. It seemed to have a hint of Chicago in it which I didn't like. For anyone who knows me well enough, or just knows me in general knows that I DO NOT like Chicago pizza. I've tried all of the popular places, but the cheese is rubbery to me, (usually b/c theres way too much) the dough is too thick and sometimes tastes like its stale, and I don't like deep dish.

Someone told me that there's good pizza on the South Side, but my parents don't really believe it. I will have to reveal though that I tried a place on the North Side around the corner from where Jessica lives that I do like. But no matter what, the pizza here just will never EVER compare to the pizza I had growing up on Long Island.

We had this little neighborhood place that had the BEST pizza I've ever had in my life. I mean NY has good pizza, but there was something about this one that was soo good. I hope that one day I will make it back down to Oyster Bay Cove so that I can go to Nino's and get my dollar slice of pepporoni.

But on a brighter note, the burgers are good here, so are the Polish brats, the hot-dogs, and steak are good too.

I'm just warning any future tourists about the pizza. Hehe.. :-)

Those of us from the east coast are pretty spoiled when it comes to a good pizza. When I visit...we'll eat something else. :)

That's funny because I haven't eaten Pizza Hut since I moved away from home last August until this past weekend. I went home and my mom ordered it Saturday night, and I thought the pizza tasted different myself, but in my case it seemed to taste a lot like beer which translates into it being a lot more yeasty-tasting than normal. It still beats Dominoes, which I hate.
