Public Service Announcement
Umm, I'm not sure who posted some comments on my last posting having to do with wedding favors, genital herpes, cancer, Hurricane Katrina, and Direct TV. But I would like to just say that I'm not planning a wedding right now, I don't have genital herpes or cancer, and Hurricane Katrina will not be paying a visit to Chicago.
Sometimes I wonder who really reads my blog...

Turn on the word verification under settings, I believe, and it should make it stop. I had the same problem for a while too. Plus, be sure and take off the anonymous comments. that will help for sure.
They are just losers, plain and simple.
Here's what you need to do:
1. go to your template thing and make it so that only registered bloggers can post.
2. make it so that they have to enter a code to say any comments.
Otherwise, you'll get SPAM on your blog. Like the stuff above.
To add to others' excellent comments: review your comments regularly as part of your blog housekeeping and remove the spam ones (the little trashcan icon will delete a comment from the blog). It's a never-ending task - IT'S WAR!
